Plot: A new criminal Organization from India is attacking the Yakuza and killing off their leadership. The party is hired to investigate due to Yak manpower shortages and can optionally assist in the assault on the Indian CrimOrg compound.

Organization: Dawood Syndicate: small Muslim organized crime syndicate, specializes in hashish contriband and extortion of the Muslim population.

Organization: Hodo-Kai: splinter group of Yaks loyal to Aya's father; women, cybered, magic users, don't fit the 'ideals' of traditional Yaks, their acceptance by Aya's father was a large factor in his being overthrown.

Organization: Kuroiban-gumi: traditionalist Yaks Organization in the STL. Recently went through turmoil ousting a more modern Oyabun. Run smuggling, trafficing, illegal cyber out of Asia. Lack of Japanese native base hampers their activities.

Organization: Whites: Replace with White Nationalists Phineous Priesthood. Conducts terrorist attacks on ethnic businesses and will target homeless and street people of color.

Organization: Yellow Lotus Triad: Chinese Organized Crime, or at least a branch of it. Like the Yaks, hindered by the lack of a 'Chinatown' or population base. Replace in this adventure with Mafya.

Organization: Kalakedar: New subcontinental Indian Organized Crime group based on Hindu nationalism trying to move into STL. Strong magical support from Shiva/Kali Initiates, and fanatical grunts who see death as shortcut to Nirvana. Very Anti-Muslim.

Person: Hodo Kameko: One of twins leading Hodo-Kai. Is Initiate in Shinto tradition. Impulsive, wild-child, will leap into bad decisions knowing she is doing so. Was on internal security team of Yaks before the split, specialized in recon and info gathering spells.

Person: Hodo Kisho: One of twins leading Hodo-Kai. Is Initiate in Shinto tradition. Pragmatic, was mid level operational manager for pre-split Yaks. Favors protective buff spells ("Combat spells take too damn long") and a gun for combat.

Person: Hohiro Daike: Born Rusty Childers in CA, Hohiro loved drones and tech and became a Yak almost by accident when he stumbled upon a Yak infiltration team preparing to hit a Triad drug warehouse in Fresno. He jumped into the operation, using his drones to provide real-time tactical info to the assault team, and then tagged along when they exfiltrated. Initially held hostage his willing, nay enthusiastic, insistance on assisting with any activity gained him a reprieve from execution. Being fourth generation American but technically racially Japanese Hohiro was sent to Japan for Yak training but retained his SoCal sensibilities and fashion sense. Was assigned to the Kuroiban-gumi to assist with IT integration and security he had an interest in Hodo Kameko but sided with the traditionalists in the split as he did not see the New Way Yaks winning. Will be an advocate to reunite the Kuroiban-gumi with the Hodo-Kai after this adventure. Wears Hawaiian shirts and has his hair tips frosted. Talks like the surfer he was when preoccupied.

Person: Mahadevan: Kalakedar magician, apprentice to Skanda Nair, runs daily operations of the cult, came up with the idea to use Yak tattoos as focuses for Kalakedar magicians. Prefers combat spells that weaken or incapacitate his enemies.

Person: Shinoda Yoshinori: an accountant in the Kuroiban-gumi, after split was promoted to run all gambling operations for STL Yaks. With death of Oyabun and Yak leadership, is now Oyabun. Not prepared or qualified for this. Will approach Gentry with request for assistance because of Aya's presense. Will advocate for Aya to take control of Yaks after adventure if she brought Hodo-Kai into play.

Person: Skanda Nair: born with four arms, Skanda Nair was considered blessed by Kali. Raised by nationalist monks to be a warrior of his faith, he is leading the rise of the Kalakedar in STL so it can then spread through the UCA and CSA. A high level initiate, Skanda Nair favors bound spirits instead of spells.

Person: Falah Almarri: head of the Dawood Syndicate in the Metroplex, Almarri is a Yemini who runs a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in North City. Willing to sell info about the attacks to the Yaks in exchange for control of the hashish trade in STL.

Outcome: If Kalakedar defeat the Yaks, Japan home office will send a heavy force in to retake operations and expand, leading to criminal warfare in the Metroplex. Kalakedar will be engergized and attempt to consolidate as much power as possible before this can happen, and will push against Gentry seeing him as a weak target, not understanding the Vampyre connection allows him to punch above his weight class. Other groups will hunker down and try to snipe targets of opportunity away from Yak Organization and Gentry if possible. Notes: "Replace Triads with Mafya. Replace Indian cult with Death Cult in Fairgrounds Park from GameIdeas page. If successful, Ava can become the Oyabun of the Metroplex Yakuza."

Group is hired by head of Tesla HR & Security to assassinate Elon Musk. His public statements and actions are negatively impacting the Corp's PR image and bottom line, but his public removal would cause Tesla's stock value to crash and endanger the entire company. Focus group testing has shown that if Elon were to be assassinated he would become a martyr and would gain a cult following like Steve Jobs. Projections put the stock bump at a minimum of 4%.
Assassination must look like it was done by a rival corp, Energizer is most likely culprit as can be integrated with their recent sabotage of Space-X launch. Helps Tesla PR build story of corp infighting, polish Elon's hagiography. Elon will be in 'Plex in one week for a joint Tesla-Boeing announcement of tactical recon vehicle called the "Maye," after Elon's mother. (Tough and stylish.) Mini Chthulhus

Group wakes up on beach with no memory of how or why they are there. No food, water is salt, 100 rounds for each weapon. Sun is just over the horizon, no indication of location, time, or direction. Each character has a 2" wide, 1" tall metallic object imbedded in their skin at the base of their skull. What they see: no trees, instead huge ferns form a thick 50-60' tall screen 200' from the ocean's edge. A distant island can be seen through the sea haze. A large fin cuts the water an indeterminate distance offshore. Loud shrieks and roars come from deep inside the jungle. No matter which direction the party goes they find a river in half a day. The river is 1/4 mile wide and opaquely muddy. The jungle hugs the shoreline forming a dark tunnel leading into the interior. Approaching the river along the beach from the other direction is a group of four people, two women and two men. Each of the women is carrying a firearm: the tall (6'2") brunette an AK-74 and the smaller (5'4") sandy blonde an H&K sub-machine gun. The men are more eclectically dressed. One, of Asian descent, has an eye covering monocle on his left eye which is attached to a metal weave sleeve on his left arm. The sleeve ends in a metal globe. The other man is wearing a brown cowboy hat and duster, and has four small drones hovering around him. He wears glasses with a view screen (Google Glass style). The group stops and stares at you, the tall woman falling into a prone firing position. See if the players have any bright ideas on communicating or getting across. If party has nothing, one of the drones eventually comes over and, slowly and crudely, writes "friend our foe" in the sand. If party signals cooperative intent, drone writes "on our way." Brunette shoulders rifle and starts strong breaststroke across river. About mid current she suddenly jerks downward once, struggles to the surface, then is violently pulled beneath the surface. The drones immediately race to the spot where she disappeared, and the blonde starts strafing the water. A blood slick appears about 20' downstream and rapidly dissipates. The blonde is screaming in Russian, and the men are physically restraining her from running into the river. If seems one of then eventually tazes her, as she jerks spazmodicly and collapses. The men then pick her up and head inland. The cowboy waves at you to follow. About a mile inland the ground starts getting soggy and quickly turns to swamp. Large (thumb sized) mosquitoes begin feeding on the characters attracting two for long dragonflies that circle the characters' heads eating mosquitoes. (Anyone have insect phobias?) Large turtles sun themselves in the occasional break in the canopy, and small lizards swarm everywhere, even flying between the trees like colorful kites. Party finds abandoned step pyramid as night starts to fall. On obelisk at top is engraving of stylized Mork suit. Ask party if they want to make camp or push on. Stress lack of food and water during day's exersions. Ask how party plans on lighting fire, cooking food. Mention constant irritation of mosquitoes. Ask for watch schedule. When the sun is down wait for someone to try to find the Big Dipper. Inform then there are NO familiar constellations in the sky. Have the Moon rise shortly thereafter, and have the moonlight reflect of the planet's rings like Christmas lights of snowflakes. About third watch guard hears thrashing in the trees coming closer. Thermal picks out a humanoid shape approaching. Gunfire is met with curses in Spanish. In accented English the person yells "Either stop shooting or be more accurate, por favor!" Assuming party stops man requests permission to approach, then does anyway. Asks permission to join then at the camp or fire. When there requests food. If no one has drunk the water he has, "it tastes like caca" but he hasn't died yet. Introduces himself as Abd-Al- Hazred, engineer. He may recognize runners with moderate reps. Says his compatriots all fell victim to the swamp: K drowned, Eye died after eating what he said was almost certainly Durian, J ran off after disturbing a three meter long millipede while making water. Drone flights Have revealed: the flying lizards like to pounce the drones, thinking them food. One is broken and all are low on power. The swamp ends a few hours walk along the river, becoming forest and then maybe plains. Suddenly there is the loud crack of breaking branches and the screams of flying lizards as they flee in panics from a tree at the base of the hillock. Thermal shows vague shapes, which then proceed to throw crude spears at the party. Gunfire ends the fight quick, but the swamp then reverberates with the sound of drums beating. A smart party will flee. Running battle through swamp with constant attacks from unseen shapes in the darkness. If a body is inspected, it is a bipedal humanoid lizard with a head crest and digigrade legs. Hands have three fingers and a thumb, hands and feet both have wicked claws. Chase should take past to late morning. Run quicksand encounter to heighten drama. Drone helps lead party to dry land, lizard people do not follow (a smart party would ask why). Abd pronounced party as safe, is immediately gutted by velociraptors that ambush party from foliage. A smart party would flee. Be prepared for more running combat, v- raptors use pack tactics to try to split party and kill stragglers. Have party be pursued through fern jungle until they break upon a pod of brachiosaurus eating they're way through the plants. Lead Raptor is suddenly lifted of by Quetzalcoatlus, and rest of pack breaks off chase. Party should be staring at me in annoyance. Stress otherworldliness of situation. Have dinosaurs lead party back to river, where they see a young pleosaur surface holding a large gar, and a raft. The raft is made from mushroom stalks bound together with woven cords. On the raft is a carved bone fish hook, cord line, and a woven fishing net. Remind party that they have not drunk or eaten in over a day, make them make Will checks to avoid rushing to drink, and HT checks to keep it down. HT checks to avoid losing ST also appropriate. Whatever the party does they will have to cross a deep creek/shallow river tributary. They get giant ticks, suffer 1d worth of ST due to blood loss and disease. At some point a giant millipede needs to run over someone's foot, or maybe their body while they're sleeping. Oh! During combat! As the party moves through the forest, have them make spot checks. Movement in the underbrush, ferns swaying for no reason, shadows that change shape. Have the party find another obelisk. There is a pile of fruit at the base, like offerings. Anyone who touches the obelisk is healed of all wounds. Either because they stake out the obelisk, spend the night, or sheer chance, the party meets a group off protohumans bringing an injured member of their tribe too be healed. If the party doesn't interfere, the protohumans proceeds to pelt the obelisk with fruit while howling and hooting at the wounded member. At this point the giant spider jumps out and attacks the protohumans. If a giant spider could fall on the table at this point, out would be AWESOME! After the giant spider is defeated, the surviving proto humans leave the clearing, seemingly with no concern about any of their compatriots who died. Giant spider stalks party, doing hit and run ambushes ( first attack: HALLOOOO drop from above on last party member.) Be sure to have an attack where a giant stinger comes out of the spider's anus to penetrate a party member. Try to get the party running, the spider pursues until the forest ends and becomes plains. At the forest/plain divide On the plains the party exits into a herd of triceratops, which spooks the herd and causes a stampede. stegosaurus grazing, which attracts a pack off Gigantasauruses. The G-saurs decides to attack the party instead, The protohuman camp in an apparently ancient, abandoned city with vague Asian influences: pagodas, Chinese dragons, foo dogs On pedestals.
