Description:

This magic must be cast upon a normal object--a length of vine, a stick, a pole, a rope, or a similar object. The spell causes the object to rise slightly off the ground or floor upon which it is resting to trip most creatures crossing it, if they fail a DEX check. The spell can trip one creature per infused Weave and only if the creature actually steps across the enchanted object.

Creatures moving at a very rapid pace (running) when tripped make their DEX check at 1R Disadvantage (2R Disadvantage if fleeing blindly or in a dead sprint) and suffer 1 point of damage and are stunned (1R Disadavantage on all rolls) for 1d4+1 segments if the surface they fall upon is very hard (if it is turf or other soft material, they are merely stunned for the rest of that segment). Very large creatures, such as dobblers, are not affected at all by a Trip spell. The object continues to trip all creatures passing over it, including the spellcaster, for as long as the spell is maintained or until a number of creatures equal to the infused Weaves has to make a DEX check. A creature aware of the object and its potential rolls their DEX check at 2R Advantage when crossing the object. A Spot Hidden check at 2R Disadvantage will reveal the enchanted object as will Detect Snares And Pits.

This spell does not function under water.
