Orb of the Shrouded Sun
AKA Lava Lamp Ball

Description:
A glass sphere approximately 6" in diameter and .5 pounds. The ball shines with radiant sunlight, but the inner surface is 95% covered with a swirling cloud of utter darkness so the light is only visible in the swirls and eddies. Shaking the ball makes the darkness flow like snow in a snowglobe. Can be used as a light source, is the equivelent of a torch.

History:
Said the come from the mountainous monestaries of the Himalayas, each Orb is rumored to contain the soul of a lama who meditated the Orb into existance, accepting death on the material plane in the hope that their consciousness will find Nirvana fighting evil.

Game Stats:
When broken the sunlight in the Orb bursts forth, doing 4d6 damage to daemons and the daemonically infused (no Power Check).
