Strahd Bat

Small beast, Monstrosity.

Description Twisted and misshapen, Strahd Bats are approximately 20 - 25 pounds with a wingspan of 10' - 15'. Flying in cauldrons of 2d10 creatures, they are known to swarm innocent travellers in clouds of fur and fangs.

Blindsight A Strahd Bat can dive on an opponent for a 3 (1d6) hp bludgeoning attack. If the target is Medium sized or smaller it must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be stunned the next round with Disadvantage on its rolls.

Echolocation A Strahd Bat does not suffer penalties when attacking a target within a Darkness spell unless the Strahd Bat is deafened.

Actions

Ram Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit 4 (1d6+1) bludgeoning damage. This attack is fatal to the Strahd Bat on either a critical success or critical fail.

Darkness A Strahd Bat can cast Darkness on a creature with lasts till the end of the Strahd Bat's next turn. Creatures within the Darkness are blinded.
